Just got my damper back from re-build and droped it on the floor, broke the pulley. Replacements are expensive. Any ideas?

There is a whole Smorgasbord of industrial, military, and aircraft adhesives out there. Many of them will make a bond that will outlast the rest of the pulley or at lest until you find a replacement.

I'd start by Googling for them. If all else fails, unless you are racing, JB Weld would probably hold up on a Healey.

If you choose that route, be sure to clean using a non-petroleum based solvent (e.g.acetone, freon, trichloroethane, etc.).

How about a photo? Maybe I'm old fashioned, but if you are talking about the pulley on the crankshaft damper, well, my faith in modern adhesives just doesn't go quite that far.

You don't want it flying apart while driving. Check with BCS in Stockton or British Miles (800-we-fix-MG) for good new and used parts. British Miles has quit a large inventory of good reconditioned Healey parts. He has a lot of NOS. The owner, Tom can be gruff and impatient but he know his stuff. John at BCS is great also.
