Good afternoon folks!
So my 15yr old son and I completed a 5yr rebuild of my fathers 1963 Sprite mk2 nationals G production racecar. It’s got the 1098cc that’s been reworked +.040 with late ‘60’s early 70’s Hepalite aluminum flat top pistons. Running and original AH 649 race cam. Upgraded 1275 aluminum flywheel and 1275 clutch/pressure plate set up.
So unfortunately on its first weekend out on the track since 1979… I spun the #3 connecting rod bearing damaging the crankshaft. So I’m looking for a replacement 2inch 1098cc crankshaft. Is there anyone out in the Austin Healey universe that might be able to help me? I appreciate y’all’s time. Here’s a picture of me at VIR about a month ago!

Contact these two fellas via the web.

Hap Waldrop at Acme Speed Shop
Mike Miller at Comptune

Both are very active in building and racing British cars, and both are located in the Carolinas.
