Neat trick for reading oil level

If you've ever had difficulty reading the oil level on your car's dipstick (especially true with newer, cleaner running motors with clean oil), here's a neat trick (I tried it and it works).

WOW! Great tip - thanks for posting, Boss!

Perfect!! As said, the newer clean running vehicles make it very difficult for older eyes to read a dipstick, that is a great idea! Thanks, PJ

Great Idea. Now if it will just stay in my memory bank?!?

Worse dipstick - 2007 Honda Civic. Its orange with two sections. If oil is clean, impossible to read. My SIL has one.
