It looks like you hooked both wires to hot leads. One for the brakes and one for the lights. When the lights are off the LED circuit would ground through the lights filament and to the ground through the socket. This would work because of the low amp draw of the LED's.
Try leaving the wire to the brake light and changing the wire to the light side to a ground source. Your LED's may still flash when the turn indicator is on, in which case you may need to connect to the wire at the brake light switch. [/quote]
I tried that, it did not get and signal
and I tried hooking it directly to the brake switch and it stayed on constantly...
