Nature can be dangerous.

School should be recalled too.....kids fall there, strain muscles there, suffer repetitive motion trauma, post traumatic stress syndrome......

 but shouldn't be. Crap - politically correct and overprotective - signs of the times!

Wow! Talk about taking it way too far, I've often made a similar point in conversations with people, I think we protect us adults almost too much, let alone children...

I'm told there is a facebook group for free range children - where parents actually let them play outside.

A friend of mine is very concerned about this situation. He's worried that by replacing the actual rocks with posters that the kids might, conceivably, be exposed to the risk of paper cuts.

Shameless.

but.... what if they find trace amounts of lead in the ink on the posters?! Noooooooo!
I guess that school should just put in the order for their "bubbles" now.
I'd hate to see their "playground", or Gym Class

I say give the yard stick back to the teachers and let them do their jobs! I'm personally disgusted with the so called do gooders who, I guess because they feel sooo neglected, that to make a name for them selves, they have to jump on a soap box and screw everything up for everyone else. The day they took control away from the teachers and gave parents control over how a school should be run, was a black day for education. It's been going down hill ever since. JMHO. PJ

in fear of all the little angels suffering a traumatic experience of ever hearing the word it will be removed from the dictionary, parents will have huge fines levied if thier child would be in possession of even a peble, using it as in rock and roll, rock hard, rock concert, rock on, rock lobster, etc, will be considered a felony, its the right thing to do. some times i just cant help but feel that -i am a rock, i am an i-i-i-aland. :wall:

I personally keep my children in plastic bubbles to avoid exposure to all foreign (and domestic) matter.

As I've said before, gents, the time has come to make me dictator.
