Just got back from a trip to DC. First visit to the American Indian museum on the mall. What a great place. Interesting architecture, interesting landscape, interesting stories of American Indians and their histories, from the top of North America all the way down through the tip of South America.

And the food - fantastic! Examples (in the museum café) of foods from dozens of nations from all over the two continents.

Definitely worth a visit.

We loved that museum when we were there a couple of years back. And it was a very special lunch experience as well. But there was too much information for one visit as I try to read everything when I go to a museum, and I was overloaded at this one.

The architecture of the building's exterior is pretty special too.

I really want to visit that place. I collect some native
crafts. Their craftsmanship is beautiful.
