The Nashville British Car Club Show is October 4 in Franklin, Tennessee. I'll be there carless again. Anyone else going to be there?

Hoping to have my Midget ready...if not, do they have an "in-progress project" category?

I'll be there.

But hey, guys - please post car show threads in the car show section, OK?

My bad Mickey. Regarding shows, I normally post in the event forum and the spridget forum hoping to encourage a good turnout from that group.

I have a long time friend who lives in Franklin is is buying a Bugeye project from me a couple of days before the show. He's going to have B-Rod Customs in Knoxville do all the body work and painting before the car comes to Franklin for reassembly. He and his father will be doing all the mechanical restoration. He will need help and support from the Nashville club folks in his efforts. He's going to the Austin Healey Southeastern Classic this weekend in Lynchburg and will be at the show in Franklin on Oct 4th. I want him to meet all the BCF folks there.

Despite restrictions aagainst it:

- I'll be there. It's our annual prom in Middle Tennessee.

Also, we do have an informal meeting on Saturday nights at the KMart in Franklin. Recently one guy showed up with a very mint 1957-58 (I'm not certain) Morris Minor. We struck up a conversation and he mentioned he's having problems find parts for that car (things like vintage weather strips, rear view mirror, etc). Any suggestions?

Finally, Ray: I live in Spring Hill. I'll be at the show with my black BE. if you direct your friend in my direction I'll be happy to provide support on his BE project. In fact, I'll be bringing a few tubs of spare parts with me - not really to sell, but to provide help to other enthuiasts who might be able to benefit by using them.

I'm planning on leading a convoy of Brit cars to Franklin from Huntsville Al.
Not sure how many this year, but I'm trying to round up as many as I can. Tony, if the Midget isn't ready, I'm sure you must have some other MG that's driveable to Franklin and back to Gurley.

I'll take that bet.

Joann and I will be there. Taking the scenic route from Memphis...Hwy 64 then up the Nachez Trace Parkway to Franklin.
