NAPA or other Parts Numbers for Triumph Parts

Back when I had an Austin Healey there was (still is actually) a great website that listed parts numbers for various parts you could buy at the local chain auto parts store for your old British car. Oil filters, and a few things, the list wasn't extensive, but if you could get a part needed locally in the middle of a repair very helpful.

Is there a similar resource for Triumphs?

I am generally interested in the question, but also specifically wondering if there is a NAPA or other part number for all those darn u-joints in the TR rear suspenstion (TR4A-6), Thanks, Greg

The axles and drive shaft all carry the same part numbers for u-joints and flanges and there are alternatives out there.

When I did my 5 speed and Nissan diff upgrade I had to have a new driveshaft made up so I took the old drive shaft to Fleet Pride which is a national facility that specializes in these things. He looked at my stock drive shaft, flanges and u-joints, went "out back" and returned with a flange and u-joint that they keep in stock. The u-joint has a grease fitting and was cheaper than Moss, TRF etc. The flange was cheaper too.

NAPA does have parts and from my experience, quality parts that fit TR6. In the past I've gotten U-joints and recently differential pinion seals.
You can do an online search for specific parts. Some parts may not be in the store but overnight or in a day or two they'll be there.

My brake lights did't work. Jumped the wire at the swich, and they worked. Need a switch. Called my parts guy, described the setup, and he said"you need an old ford switch"
This must be a generic term, as I think that's what Randall called it.
He even sent the round terminals for it. $9.00, one day- Brake lights work, and I can go riding.

Used to be called the "Monster List".. All kinds of parts referrals, parts suppliers, etc. Dunno if it's still around. But might try researching. If I remember Teglerizer had a linkup to it...

Not a listing of part numbers, but suppliers. Usually with some comments from customers.

Not so actively maintained these days; but I believe Chris does keep up with any new information he receives.
