Help for MGA owners

Mike Ash's MGA technical wisdom is now available in book form.

Is it time to give your beloved MGA a little TLC? Maybe you’d like to spend these upcoming spring days converting your car to wire wheels, or rebuild those wooden floorboards. If so, you’re in luck: The North American MGA Register, or NAMGAR, is offering a collection of 16 years of columns by Mike Ash, technical editor for the club magazine, MGA!.

In more than 400 pages, Mike discusses the right way to do a complete tuneup, the care and feeding of SU carburetors, rebuilding gearboxes, installing oil filter adapters and a wide range of other topics. The book contains more than 1,000 drawings, charts, diagrams, and photos, many created specifically for the magazine.

The book, called Tech Sessions by MGA!, is $45, with a shipping cost of $5. To learn more, visit the club’s Web site at www.namgar.org
