Name my Midget??

I refer to my 8 year old adorable daughter as "my midget" typically. I was wondering if I should be naming the car since it is an official Midget? Wonder if I should name it after her?? I hope these cars are finished before I take the long haul down the river Styx and that they stay well maintained so my daughter can inherit them when she's old enough. Right now The BMW is the everyday car and the rest are for fun. Any suggestions?? Should I name the car after my daughter???

The car shoul tell you what it wants to be called. Listen close and it will come.

mine stareted as "Margrette" "midge" for short. then she became "Margrette Cornerstraight", "midge" or "PotatoChip" to her close friends. That was after i discovered the dreaded drivers side lean. now her full name is "Margrette Josephine Cornerstraight" aka PotatoChip.
She's a Good Woman.

Your car will develop its own name. Liike Jack says It will come to you some day as you drive down the road, it will just feel like the Right name, you will know when that happens.

Well, I hope it's not "Poopmobile"....!

Pegasus Typhoon Eileen (I lean) (geddit?) is what we agreed on, her and I.

What is with that drivers side lean anyway? I had 3/4 inch plywood on the springs to level it....

Call mine "The Wart", 'cause she just kind of grows on ya /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

my favorite thing about the Midge is that i dont have to tote around any of my toooo fat friends....;)
i put about a 240 lb limit on my passenger seat.....
fat makes my tires rub!.....haha.......z

My midget is the Mongrel, and the Sprite has been nicknamed "scooter" because all it does is scoot around the garage on eight caster wheels.

Hehe, this is a fun post.

Miss Agatha was named by the wife, as she says definately female and British all the way through. Wife says she likes her new name, shrug.

Tunebug came about since I bought the car using money earned from playing music. Bugeye + Music + Junebug = Tunebug. Just sort of popped into my head one day, and it stuck. When I found that I could get a license plate with that, it sealed the deal and the Tunebug was duly named.

The last car I had with a name was possessed, you'd turn the wheel right and she wanted to go left.
But my wife has decided to name our Midget "Mardi Gras".I haven't a clue why, other than the initials. The car is green and has gold stripes, maybe that's it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
Anyway, whatever the name is, we got to test drive her yesterday, that was fun. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif First time we've driven her,no bonnet,no doors, one seat for the driver.Wife sat up on the back, she claims it was just like the queen in a parade. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

as my signature says. My wife named mine Ms. Triss.

Of course ya gotta name it. When I first got my midget, the head cracked within 20 minutes of driving it. I was looking in the trunk and found a decal that was left by the former owner. While frustrated, I applied it to the hood. It was the tazmanian devil. I was going to remove it after I fixed the car. I decided to leave it on and simply name my finicky little car "TAZ"

hee...mine's Simon, after the main character in a british computer game.."Simon the Sorceror"...this kid who thought he was big and bad, but was kinda short, and had a snappy mouth and a bit of an attitude...:: grins :: it fit

My mom's bug-eyed is Bubbles....It's white, and...er...bubbly...
but no one's named the 76 yet....
