For anyone interested, here's a live streaming link to the Nürburgring 24 Hours (on right now)

https://tv.audi.de/#/01

It's in Deutsch, so you may have to decipher on your own.

In a way, this is a cooler race than LeMans, since almost anything can run it.
You'll see econo-boxs and SCCA-club racer types with ALMS and LeMans cars.

The cars in the works Mercedes team are the Bee's Knees.

Thanks, Nial. By the way, Radio LeMans has commentary in English but no video stream, so mute that live stream and you're golden!

I know.
The low-key attitude in the pits is a bit too low-key.

The announcer at Radio Lemans said they couldn't get pit-passes. Looks like they were the only ones who couldn't!

Most of those VW Golfs are tube-frame with 4 WD. I think the graffiti on the track is pretty funny.

One of the Gullwing Mercedes SLS cars was 3rd until the last hour. Very disappointing for them. The popular Porsche GT3 Hybrid was 28th
The Brits were there: there were at least two MINIS running at the end plus a Ginetta and several Aston-Martins (including the keen V12 Zagato).

~Full Entry List~ (there were 250 cars entered! It seemed like about 100 or them were Renault Clios!
