That's not the first time ammunition has gotten away at that range.

The stories (I read it in this morning's paper) don't say what the experiment was suppose to be.
 
Article linked above says it was a test to see how fast a cannonball travels. Kinda frightening that a firing range of that nature is that close to a neighborhood.
 
Or a neighborhood was that close to a firing range.

The good side is no one was injured! Of all the crazy things they do on that show, it's inevitable that something bad will happen sooner or later. I like the show though. :crazy:
 
I haven't watched them for a while, but I thought they were generally pretty cautious.
