XPAG maybe? (MG TC->TF 1250)

Looks like one we had. I have photos but no measurements. The intake manifold on the blower took a single SU of 1.5" dia iirc.

I think the intake ports on those early MGTCs had the bolts going up and down over the intake port ,

where this shorrock has the mounting bolts to the side.....

I dunno. It's been a while since I looked at one. Anyway, here's a photo of ours that (barely) shows the output manifold. (Lower right in the photo). The ports seem centered over the end of the blower housing, as are yours, and the fastenings seem to be at the sides. I don't have any better shots of the unit handy.

(This probably isn't helpful but, it is a vintage supercharger)

I would like to try one out in the Elva sometime also.
And an original HRG/Derrington X-Flo headed engine w/ Webbies.

Actually, based on the last picture I posted, I was implying that it *would* fit an XPAG MG engine.

Here's another (poor) picture, but it looks like it might fit an XPAG based on the layout.

I'm almost certain it's for an Austin Seven - 750 sidevalve. Rectangular ports etc.

You may need to find someone to do some measurements. The Moss catalog illustration shows that the XPAG head has two rectangular ports with fasteners on the sides, laid out with their long sides horizontal. I'm not sure about the Austin Seven but I think superchargers for these would be pretty rare in this part of the world. Blowers for MG's were pretty common in the fifties in the US.

Austin sevens did not use a long snout blower unit. I have several Shorrocks...will have a look to see if I can sort it out for you.

Depended where you mounted them. If under the manifolds, alongside the crankcase in the same place as the blown Ulster, which is exactly where a blower like the one illustrated would mount, they would have a long snout. Otherwise you'd never get a drive to them.
Been there, done that . . .
