i think whoever took this car apart left every bolt they just broke off.... and they broke a few. the last week i have spent hours drilling out and cleaning up threads in nuts welded to the floor pans or somewhere. today it was a half day on the bolts that hold the headlight high beam switch.

while i was there i found two bolts in the floor just below where the gas pedal goes. these were not broken but just painted over. took a little while to get out. anyway i figured they were for a pedal stop. i came in and went thru the Moss and other catalogs i had to see if they showed a block or some sort of stop. i did not see one. is there supposed to be some sort of stop there?
thanks

Don't know if there was one originally But only yesterday I made and fitted a throttle pedal stop in just that place. I didn't find any existing threaded points to use . 56 100/6

If you put a block where the factory intended none, make sure your throttles open all the way.

the nuts are welded on the engine side and the bolts came thru from the interior side. they are not the heat shield bolts. these are about the same distance apart as the high beam switch bolts just under the gas pedal.
i will just put the screws back in the holes. maybe they were going to put a block but decided against it? or used it at the factory to set the linkage and then pulled the block out?
wanted to make sure i did not miss something.

thanks
