i found this brace in one of my boxes today while doing some sorting. can anyone tell me what it is for? trying to put everything in boxes that should go together....

Looks like a pinch bar a burglar left behind while stealing your stuff.

yes, there are times it sure feels that way.
hate to just toss anything aside. i found this old switch in one box i thought came off an old radio or something. turns out it is the panel light switch.

Kind of looks like a support for the dash panel.

kind of thought the same thing... but then i do not see it listed in any of parts view. so not sure where it could go.

I have a similar bracket that goes from one of the bolts that holds the windshield stanchions somewhere under the dash (too much stuff to see where the open end goes). Doesn't look exactly the same, but I wouldn't toss it out until you try it there.
