IMG_0263.jpg Friend gave me this photo. Doesn't know what it is. Looks to be a kit? Whitewalls indicate possibly USA? Might be late 40s or 50s? Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks, Mert

Thanks so much. My friend tells me her father took a picture of this speedster. Where, when, wasn't told. Mystery solved.

The gentleman in the photo is my friend's father. Photo circa 1944. He was 22 at the time. The photo was taken in Atlanta, GA. The photographer (his cousin) might have been the new owner of the Speedster. Don't know his name. Also, I am assuming this is the only 1934 Edsel Ford Speedster ever manufactured? That there are no replicas. Ergo, this photo is the "real" Speedster. Any thoughts. Thanks. Mert

Hi Mert - the links I posted show the car's history, and Atlanta is included.

That Speedster was designed and built (and modified) specifically for Edsel Ford, so I doubt there were any replicas, especially in 1944!
