Oops.

OK, admit it, you've forgoten to label a part in your restoration. I need your help in identifying a pair of parts.

I remember stripping paint from these parts, but I can't remember where they came from. Anyone want to help me out?

Please?

The small bright circle is a quarter (for size reference, not a reward).

Rear fender stays?

Or dash support stays?

They go on when you put the rear fenders on. The go at the last hole to the back. If you look inside the trunk where the screw holes for the fender go, it gets attached on the opposite side of the back holes. It's actually just the last weld nut for the rear fender. The reason for the extension is to hold some clamping pressure for the last few inches of fender.

Mickey (again) and martx

Thank you very much!

I've seen these in catalogs before, however, don't remember ever pulling one off of my 1959 TR3A. I'm pretty sure the fenders had never been pulled before my removing them. Would it be possible for the 1959 not to have these? Or has my memory (once again) failed me?

Yep, rear wing braces, Martex is quite correct. Just bought a pair for my '60-3A. Yours look slightly bent, at least in the picture anyway. The long body should be straight.
Regards, Tinkerman
