I was messing this morning and discovered a Moss # 640-640 hanging on my garage wall all sand blasted and painted up nicely.

Checked in the Moss catalog and discovered that they are selling it for $199.95, kinda makes you wonder how many they sell.

Anyway I have one in great condition that is going on ebay before too long. No I do not expect $199 or even $99 but if anyone needs this make me an offer. Prob be about #12 to ship most anywhere.

I am sure I will never need this but somewhere a 1959 thru Aug 1965 Sprite or Midget just may.

Would not have posted this here but after seeing the price I just could not resist.

A 640-640? Is that anything like a 30.06? :jester:

Ha, I never said what it was, I was so shocked with the price. It is called a seat frame, it is the part that has the capture bolts for the seat back.

HUH! I've got a complete set of those old seats...I should take better care of them!!

Anybody need a perfect set of seats for an MG1100?

I assume these tend to rust out horrifically. I need something to get my driver's seat adjustable again, I'll look. If this is one of the things I need I'll shoot you an offer. Seat is fine for me but if it could scoot forward and lock there my wife could drive it (I know, you're thinking "how could that possibly be a good thing?" well, if she likes it, we drive it more and not to mention if she likes it more, more $$ gets funneled it's way, I'm not too crazy).

Maybe if you still have that early painted pedal box and shift knob, did they sell? I'll get those from you too.

PS did the passenger side ever move?
From what I remember looking at my driver's side the cushions just sit in the frame, not fastened to it (probably because the frame and stuff is all rusted together and not coming apart without a major fight)

Passanger side was bolted directly into the floor.

You have a PM.
