My wife popped my balloon.

My grand plan to align my trailing arms with my fancy-smancy homemade alignment plates attached to the face of the trailing arms went out the window. I got the whole suspension put back together and decided put the tires back on so it could rest on the ground (needed to take the load off my tube shocks, they don't like to support the spring-loaded trailing arms for long periods in the air.) Still have to go back up another weekend to finish a few minor things, like brakes and gas tank, but had enough for a while. Sweeping up my mess as the wife walked out of the den to check on me and the first thing out of her mouth is "Your rear wheels are crooked!" Dang if she wasn't right! She has a sharp eye because the toe in and camber were both off. Popped my balloon.

Bill: When you drop it off the jack, don't both wheels sit at an ezxaggerated camber angle until the car is rolled or driven several feet? Maybe nothing is wrong at all?
( or maybe I don't understand)
