My wife always breaks my TR!

I can drive my TR for months and never have a problem but as soon as my wife gets in it starts to come unglued! Last week she got in and the speedometer stops. The next day she gets in and the passenger seat belt buckle breaks. Tne next time the engine starts to run ragged and rough. I have got to keep that woman out of my car! I don't think my car likes her or is jelous.

Does your wife like driving the TR? Would she be happier driving a Miata? My wife prefers her Miata. She doesn't want to drive anything that may break down.

I broke out into a laugh when I read your subject line. When my wife would drive my old TR3 and the same thing would happen. I probably spent as much time working on the car as driving it.

Hey, it sounds like there is some jealousy between your wife and your "mistress". Perhaps some family counseling would be a good idea.

It could be worse....

My ex had a wee bit of a problem with depth perception and, sooner or later, ran every car we ever owned into every other car we ever owned, right there in our driveway or garage!

I liked to think this was educational and helped me hone my auto body repair skills.
