My Triumph attacked me!!!!

So I went out to the garage quick to grab a couple of tools I needed to take back into work tomorrow. I decided to just go in using the door opener light, and not turn on the others. I grabbed my tools, and was turning to head out when one of the Triumph TR3 cylinder heads I had standing on its end on the floor (Stupid, I know, but I didn't want it to rust till I got it put away) decided to fall over on my foot! Did I mention stupid me was wearing flip-flops?!
OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!
Now I'm sitting here with an ice pack on my throbbing, bleeding, big toe. Sipping on a Yuengling, waiting for the pain to subside a bit so I can go to bed. I don't think it's broke, just mushed good.
Sometimes I can be a pretty big moron.
Do you think the TR is feeling neglected?
I guess I'm glad I'm not working on a TR6!

Or a Chebby 350!!!

Ice is a great numbing agent... better is orgainizing your stash.

now comes the wait till the nail turns black and falls off. d@mn thing is still a-throbbing!
Worst part is: the beer fridge is out in the garage... one's the limit tonight.

I dunno Doc.. I think that TR head is right on par with a small-block head. Durn thing is a good sized lump of iron

Yeah, pro'lly right.

Use th' ice and find a bottle of wine. Then th' challenge will be to sleep with th' offended appendage elevated.

:smirk:

I'll prop it up on a pillow, right in the path of the A/C. I'll wake in the morning to icicles hangin from my toes. hehehehe

PAINLESS!!!

 Yes, I much prefer storage rust v.s standing rust myself.

Ben
It is telling you it is feeling neglected. We need to see this car on the road, not rusting in the garage like mine. Ok I will go out and clean a part this evening.

Hey Ben,
Swing on by and we can compare. I shut my thumb in a Volvo door today!. Not looking too pretty!.

Ugh... I hope yer thumb is OK. My toe recovered nicely. It's still a tad tender, but ok. I get careless after wearing steel-toe boots all day long.
I gotta do some work on the TR very soon.

I'm not even going to hint about the fool move that sent me first to the Vicodin and then to the large bag of crushed ice. --elrey

Let me know if you are going to be around this weekend. Maybe I can swing by and have a word with the TR about respect.

Should be around generally, I'm getting ready to hit the road Monday, to install robots in a factory Meadsville PA. will be there all week.
