Well guys, as you know, I had my hand slapped for having At Last, by Etta James as background music on my Youtube video. It's a shame, for I really like that song.

Well, I replaced the song and uploaded my new and improved version of my video.

Directly below and to the right of the video, in blue type:

watch in high quality

Click that. It's almost like being there.

Cheers,
Roger

Great video again. I do like the higher quality too. Smart to have the GPS programmed to a place other than your house. Never know when some Youtube fanatic might stop by.

Love the video! Especially the cupholders, volume knob, and GPS showcase. BTW, what was the second song that you used? I hear it all the time, but never know who it is...

Hey Roger,
Beautiful Healey and a really neat video. Love the way you integrated the gps
and radio and hid the speakers. Makes me want to get my 100-4 finished and
on the road again.
Regards,
Mike

Kudos, kudos, kudos, beautiful car, beautiful resto, beautiful video treatment.

Was that not the Theme from the Pink Panther?

Greg, good point about the address. What you see on the screen is the vinyl sheet that Garmin provides. That's not your home address is it, LOL.

Shane, first song, What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong, the second song is Take Five by Dave Brubeck.

Thank you guys for your compliments.

Cheers, R

Roger, my compliments, again. You're wife must love you a lot. As I was playing the video, my wife came by, and she was very impressed. Do you sleep?

Roger,
I was blown away by the outstanding video!!...transitions, music selected, .. and, of course, the absolutely beautiful subject!!! Congratulations on a beautiful tribute to your Dad! Also, I thought the mods were well thought out and integrated!!... loved it all. Did you do your own video??...sure looks professional.

Cheers,
Steve

Thank you for your kind words Steve.
And welcome to the forum.

I ran across your video on Youtube and posted it here for the forum members to see. What an outstanding modification you did.

Did I shoot the video?
I shot it with a Canon SD870 IS digital ELPH. It's a compact digital camera, not a dedicated video camera.

It was a bit of a challenge, holding the camera in one hand, opening the door, the cup holder, stuff like that with the other hand; while still shooting. You get the picture, pun intended. Two things kept me reshooting. 1. Too much hand shaking. 2. Not seeing the image of me filming in the various reflections. (Ya don't want to image someone watching your video, then when they see my reletion, they suddenly burst out, what was that?... Sasquach!)

Then I downloaded the various video's I shot to the Windows movie maker program and had at it. This was my first video and I learned a lot along the way.

Currently I am attempting to make my second Healey video. It will focus on the stealth items I incorporated. Nav, MP3, rear lights in the reflectors, courtesy lights, etc.

Hopefully it will be a bit more entertaining than my restoration video.

Cheers,
Roger

Great car, great video and great music.

I am surprised I did not see it on the Golden Globes last night.

Keep up the good work.

Great video, great car. Now lets hope Louis Armstrong doesn't spring back to life and want to sue you over using His song !
