Some of the cars waiting in the warehouse to be sent overseas. Each one looks as if it probably had one heck of an interesting story behind it and how it got to particular place in time.

The Triumph is in pretty nice shape as is the Austin flatbed. The ACORN is an odd looking bird. Didn’t look under the bonnet but I suspect it’s powered by a Triumph power plant.

The Jag is really in a sad state of affairs. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

All I can say is I just hope they find a good home.

Neat... That Acorn is rather interesting to say the least, not sure I like it that much though

I'm sure anyone who has worked in the port cities has seen lots of neat old cars pass through, and certainly at least some truly delectable ones... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

yikes, that Jag certainly needs some lovin'! I fear those straps wrapped around the back bumper(s) though /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

Are these cars heading for the UK? Interesting to see that many of them are right hand drive.

It's amazing to see how many cars are being purchased by the brits.

Not sure where they're going. All I know is that they're out bound.

In bound you see a lot of Skylines & the like. But they're mostly scraped, wreaked & half torn apart cars. I’m guessing that probably has something to do how & why they're able to get them in here. I’ve NEVER seen a complete Skyline come through that clearing warehouse.

I searched several places google etc. and can't find anything on the Acorn! Can anyone provide any info. on it?
I've seen alot of unusual cars over the years and this is one I've never heard of.

I honestly hadn't heard of an ACORN before the other day when I took the picture. But looking close I noticed that the stick shifter knob had a Triumph marquee logo on it so I'm wondering if it is some sort of one-off or cottage industry kit type car.
