I had a Disco1 previously, and there is a gulf of difference between the two. Offroad ability is even better, but it's also incredibly comfortable and quiet - more like a luxury limo than an offroader...

Reliability is faultless. I had a failure on the compressor for the air suspension, but this was a known fault, and the compressor has been replaced with a upgraded version.

This is the TDV6 (2.7 litre twin-turbo diesel), what a fantastic engine! Consumption is around 24mpg (it costs around ÂŁ80 to fill up the tank). I have 7 seats (all big enough for a 6' adult!), leather, DVD players, etc...

You're much wiser than I!

In addition to my '66 Series II-A 88" SW, the "QE I," my other cars are a 1980 TR-7 Spider and a 1966 Series II-A HT.

No wonder I'm never comfortable!

Jeff
