My oh my, lost another one

Banjo

Yoda
Country flag

Another great has passed on. Seems to be a bad trend here.
Joseph Barbera passed away earlier this week.
Half of the Hanna Barbera team, responsible for so many great cartoons over the years.

Loved the cartoons... totally ingrained in my brain. Great Race anyone? Exit... stage left. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Scoobie
Yogi
The flintstones
Richie rich
The Jetsons
Johnnie quest

Powerpuff girls
Dexters laboratory
Johnnie Bravo
2 stupid dogs

Pretty much the whole cartoon network, and Boom lineups. Plus producers of movies like Dumb and Dumber, etc.

All favorites... I even remember watching the Pac-man hour.

Sad loss.

yea, lots of good stuff. I always liked Huckelberry Hound, Snagglepuss and the early Yogi bear cartoons. also Tom and Jerry... Gotta laugh at the masterful timing in some of those...
I'm surprised to not have seen any little blurbs or memos inbetween programs on Boomerang ( I watch a lot of it with my Dot)
What are they waiting for?
Of course my all time favorite cartoon director died a long time ago... That'd be Tex Avery!

banjo, bummer!, about 4 months ago while at the dump i found this, see, atch, its signed and has a certificate of authenticity, felt bad seeing it just laying there so i brought it home, again bad news.

I was always more of the Chuck Jones/Mel Blanc sort. Losing any of 'em is a sad thing, tho.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned 'Ruff and Reddy'! First of the Hanna/Barbera TV shows... and I WATCHED 'em!
