My Next Project

Mrs Abarth69,
You are obviously a woman of clear thought, self assurance, and magnificent understanding. An individual who understands the debths of automotive passion do not threaten, but enhance the bond between husband and wife. And make's a house more than a shelter, makes it a true home. And knows the medicinal properties of auto restoration, and the life extending, fountain of youth qualities of automotive restoration. And knows that behind every mans automotive rebuild and upgrade, is the deep rooted desire to please his wife. I'm near certain I speak for the majority of the readers of this forum when I say; "thank you Mrs Abarth69 for allowing Mr Abarth69 the use of your trailer for transport of JP's Abarth project. In doing so you have paved the way not only for JP's project, but you have enable Mr Abarth69 to be part of a life saving experience, and you have allowed for us out in cyberland the chance to follow along with the exploits and project.
We appreciate you!

That being said Mr & Mrs Abarth - I'm cut to the quick by the disparaging comments about Luigi. Fortunately I'm not sure Luigi is media savvy enough to read these comments. Yes, he has a face only a mother can love and, yes, enclosed trailers are helpful but ask Mark, the crowd gathered immediately the van came out of the trailer and they approved!

Besides, it'll be a screamer once I figure out how to relieve that Yamaha of its engine

thanks again Mark & Heather

Oh, and I realized I double posted the same picture. I meant this

To Mike, I thank you for your kind words.
To JP and all you small engine boys, You can not have my 150 hp engine from my 4stroke Yamaha Apex snowmobile!
Sorry if I have offended Luigi, I am looking forward to my pizza delivery in my neighbourhood soon!!

The Wife

This has been fun to read.

I'm voting a classic two-tone paint job -Like Here- with maybe a wicker pick-nick basket on the roof.

And a loud stereo playing "The Italian Christmas Donkey" song at all times.

An 850 motor would be nice (OK, a WRX motor would be *real* nice  )

JP knows that I am also involved in a project with a -FACE- that only a mother could love. All good fun!

Luigi is going to be an exciting project! I wish you all the luck with it that you will need. Looking at the snap of the rear view, engine out, I can't help thinking Corvairs had an aircooled flat-6 hung out back... Whatever you do, it'll be fun, so good on yer mate!

Is Luigi the same as the one in the movie CARS?

Luigi in Cars was a Nuova 500, most of the same engineering but a smaller body, and 499cc of air-cooled twin out back. I've had three of 'em!
