Whoa, I love these and decided about a month ago I was going to put one in my tr4 once I get to that point in the restoration.

Lighter, cooler, more efficient. Looks nicer too!

slightly off topic, I want to go to an electric fan for obvious benefits of cooling and also to reduce engine drag. however, and ugly plastic fan that is not "period" looking angers me.

I've seen some hot rod guys fab electric fans out of old italian metal table fans, etc.

Anyone here have thoughts, ideas or even fabbed something creative in the past.

I want an electric fan that is cool and COOL!

Hondo, nice and it works. Sorry, I didn't get down there today, the guy with the M3 was going out of town and we a looking at one nearer with only 45K.

Willie P, have a look in a junk yard or Ebay for a dual fan off a XK8, British and comes as a unit and quite thin.

Off topic but sad day. I just sold my 1998 mint M3 (which drove simply sublime) which I owned for last 6 years to a nice young man from Greensboro, NC. I live in CT so we met in Philly.

Very sorry to see it go but relieved/satisfied to see it going in the hands of someone who really appreciates it is an amazing car in fantastic condition.

OK back to the subject of Triumphs...

well got the radiator in, electric fan attached, it actually comes on in Manual and Kicks on automatically, sorry no pics yet, and the TR6 IS RUNNING!

but I have seemed to have developed an oil leak around the filter adapter, but I am going to get the seats back in and hood on, and the oil leak and carb adjustments need wait

dont know will have to take it back off and see what the deal is, it wasnt leaking before I put the engine in and bumped the oil filter and aluminum adapter against the frame, I guess I will get a new filter, take the adapter back off, pull the seal out and reinstall
