Hi Glad to find this board and hope
I can contribute. Before I came to the USA always worked on my cars - usually at the curbside outside my London falt so a garage is a luxury - still get a little nervous if the task is not finished by dusk! Bought my B at a yard sale ( really 0 The previous owner had put 800 miles on the car in 15 years but it was garaged and he appeared to have done regular maintainence - but no restoration - so needs work Member of the Central Jersey MG car club. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Welcome, good find.

Welcome, from another another ex-pat Brit! I have an MGB too.

I agree, when you have to turn spanners outside and it starts getting dark, the stress levels go up considerably!

There are a few transplanted Brits here, and more than a few members still over in the UK. You are going to like it here.

Welcome - good luck with the B

Welcome!
Another New Jersey person here and also born in the UK (but I came here as a kid about a zillion years ago).
I probably know some of the folks in the Central NJ MG club (though I'm not a member).

If you can, you should try to attend the Moss FallFest here in NJ...I think the MG club is involved with it.

I never though of any of us as "car fiends"....more like "car pervs". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Welcome - yes do check out Britfest in the fall and you have a Moss warehouse right in Dover.

"car fiends"....more like "car pervs". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Honey why are you always under the car?

Wish I had yard sales like that.

Welcome to the BCF.

I shall no doubt attend the moss fest. My daughter attends CCM so I pass Moss frequently - actually I stop at Moss frequently as well!

Peter:

We have someone who teaches at CCM as a forum member. He is most likely away for the weekend.

I am a former Alumni from there as well.

FallFest at Moss Motors (in Hamilton Business Park, Dover, NJ) is Sept 16, a Saturday.

I will try to make it with the race-Spridget (I did last year)...depends on whether or not #11 is in bits from a race the previous weekend (at Pocono).
