Hey thats a nice looking car. I've been mildly interested in finding a coupe TR7 for awhile now, do you mind if I ask what you paid for it? Whats the overall condition?

mine is still in oakland ca, under a tarp at my inlaws house. I think I blew out the diaphragms in the carbs (driving to hard). I probably paid too much, $2500. But it looked in pretty decent shape and I have an extra engine, etc.

Gee... Love the colour Phil, Looks somwhat similar to mine. Mine is "Mercedes Arctic White"
Hope you get it home soon, you will love it.
Oh, I love the rims. Any information on them you could share?

i was told by previous owner that they were special racing rims purchased from europe. don't know whether to believe that or not, but they look good I think. The receipt for the respray says painted "alpine white" whatever that is.

I liked the fact that on the fhc I could roll both windows down fro ventilation and not be buffeted around by the velocity of the breeze (even exceeding the legal speed limit). I only wish it had the 5 speed, I keep reaching for that fifth gear.
