My day in the snow...

The annual Garage Tour of our local vintage sports car club was today, you can see the weather... Upon leaving Mick's new shop for the first stop of the day, headed out to the second stop for the day... Not long after heading out started hearing a rather noisy racket at the the back of the car, pulled over to discover a flat tire... Unfortunately I wasn't really in the convoy of cars and had some trouble changing the tire by myself (don't ask, and yes, I have changed a tire before), finally got underway with the space saver spare... I managed to find a shop that was open on a Saturday and his assessment was that my tire wasn't even repairable, so... After much fretting I did manage to track down a used tire through a local shop which didn't cost me too much but... Since there's more snow on the way I didn't want to be driving the rest of the weekend with a space saver spare... All dealt with now, I guess we all have bad days sometimes...
