Ya know it's funny and over in the P-car forum where I linked you're video Steve, theres not a lot of "Say it ain't so" or "Bull Sh-t!" boo hoo'in ranting or raving. In fact there's more of that here than over there.

Truthfully I'm surprised.

But anyway I posed the question in the same thread to see if I couldn't get anyone to defend their honor.

Hopefully I don't get anybody too mad but in an effort to get somebody to step forward I accused most (not all) 911 owners of not being *true enthusiasts* who view their local P-car dealership as nothing more than a fancy boutique to buy a nameplate.

Doh! I just realized it's their OT (Off Topic) so unless you're a member (yeah I know it sucks) you won't be albe to see it.

I just checked and it still works for me. What's it do when you click on the link?

If you're a member of that forum it should prompt you to login or put you directly to the thread if you're already logged in.

Edit: Are you a "paid" member? Yeah I know it sucks, but there's a difference for user members & paid members.

Nope, not a paid member. Seems odd that the one forum I would be locked out of for not being a paid member would be the off topic one.
 
Yesterday at the Car show in which I got a first I may add, I was offered.

A 911 Porsche Carrera restored, direct swap for Miss Agatha. He said worth 35K. Ahemm.

Told him I really had no use for one but would take 20K cash only, sell the carrera and come back.

Stuart, this board, was there as well as other MG folks and could not beleive what I said with a straight face and no hesitation. May take up poker when I get old enough.

Miss Agatha just kept smileing the whole time, she knew she was going home to her warm wrap before too long.

Start looking for one I can really do right the first time. Purchase a real good runner to start with and maybe an all new body from England to go with it.

Wouldn't take near so long with 20K to work with. I think I have about 12K in Miss Agatha.

+1 That's how they get you. Lots of folks over their like to mix it up over on OT.

There were a couple of places - but a guy'd have to be right on top of the car in front & already be downshifting.
 
Hehe, putting the fear of LBCs into a Porcha driver is a good thing.
