My car loves me

It made it to work, back to my neighborhood through an hour's worth of stop and go traffic, to my local liquor store, and back home before my radiator catastrophically failed all over the drive way. Phew!

Ha, you funny guy. What kind of failure? You need a late model radiator. I got one for shipping only. No clue as to condition but you welcome to it.

A hose failure or actual core meltdown china syndrome style?

A previous hasty repair to the tank gave way.

Thanks for the offer Jack! Mine is in pretty good condition and very repairable so I will keep it.

Shhhh!!!That's the second thing Jack has offered to give away in the last two days. I think Jack is cleaning out his garage of spares. Me thinks he's looking for space, just hasn't told his wife yet about a new project he's planning.

Gesh, only offer what I have. No new projects and not likely to need radiators.

I do have 6 large plastic tub bins full of good clean parts, some dirty as well. Also have 8 plastic shoe boxes full of good small items. Easy to store this stuff as it is all in nice containers with labels.

Woops forgot the extra engine and the three trannys that are not boxed. Hehe.

Ahhh, also some stuff hanging on the walls as well. Yea guess some has to go. Well maybe.

no, don't run into the garage!

Jack, what you doing w/ late model stuff?

It really DOES love ya, Morris! When they break in the driveway, that's the proof.

I never count the engines and gearboxes either, Jack.

Yep, need a shed for sure but can not have one where I live in a gated community.

I do have a three car garage though and would have a shed if I could.

Late model parts came from a late model Sprite I was given as parts. Not much left when I got it.

See my storage tubs.

Nice shed, I would put wood between metal to concrete to prevent corrosion

Your right, I was in a rush to move stuff in, realized after that I should have put wood down for the sheetmetal & motors - that was 2 years ago - still on the list of things to do ;-)

Jack....you owe me a keyboard! Drool and electronics are NOT compatible!!!!

jack, you've got a really nice garage, I wish mine was as tidy.. I share it with my brother who does not share my sense of organisation.

You know fellows when you are retired as I am and as old as I am you tend to work a bit and rest a bit. My garage is the result of that cycle.

For example I have about 4 or 5 hours work to do on Miss Agatha at the moment changing out parts etc. It will prob take me 3 days next spring.
