I just stopped by my brother's house, he just bought a one owner 61 bugeye, pretty much unmolested and original, not on the road since the early 70s, the old gent always meant to restore it, but never got around to it. Fun to poke around and point out the original features, very solid and rust free, needs paint and cosmetics if the bonnet wasn't in primer we would both be tempted to keep it in its currently mostly orignal light BRG paint.

948 cc smooth case transmission, etc. How cool is that!

rare find ! please post some pictures !! very cool indeed !

Very cool -- we definitely want pictures!

I didn't bring the camera first visit, will try to get some this weekend, my brother hase probably owned a half dozen or more spridgets over the years, I have had three, but first Bugeye for either of us, he was looking at doing a Locost (homebuilt Lotus 7 type vehicle) but the Bugeye was just too good of a deal/car to pass up.

Your Brother is a Lucky Guy!

If it's really that original, it's worth documenting with a lot of pictures. Might help resolve some of the questions that repeatedly come up.
