T-Series My Aircraft Collection

After seeing a picture of an MGY with a Lancaster in the background I have been dying to get either a Lanc or Spit behind mine. I almost had a Spitfire but the flight was canceled. The closest Lancaster is in Ontario, too far for me.
OTOH I do have a nice collection of other aircraft.



I just got the Tri-Motor Friday.
Strangely I actually flew on that very plane about 60m years ago. It was when the 727 was being introduced and Eastern was flying around in this as a promotion.

All were taken at the Essex County Airport, in Fairfield, NJ
The F4U and the B-24 were taken in early Fall of 2018 at a show. (The TD, Elvira won a trophy.)
The P-51 was early this spring, also at a show. (Another win for Elvira.)

The Ford was just this Friday. My daughter is an Officer in the CG Reserve, they have Flotilla there.
The Ford was there for rides but not pictures. She arranged for me.
For a while the TD had a bigger crowd than the Ford.

Nice! Not much can top period aircraft with period cars. Especially British cars. Hope you can get that Lancs shot! :thumbsup:

As a student pilot doing touch and goes at Westchester HPN back in 1965, I was told to follow a Ford Tri-Motor on left base. There it was. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I was flying a Piper Colt. No flaps.
