T-Series My 55 TF Xpeg Distributor

Anybody recognize this distributor? It was on my TF when I bought it years ago, it works beautifully, but strange numbers baffle me! PJ

If I read the numbers correctly, made in June 1968. According to the Lucas 400E catalog, it's a model D2A4 distributor, clockwise rotation, earth return, ECM curve 364 and 11 - 13 degrees advance. Distributor cap p/n 418888. Marcel Chichak's website shows that it was fitted to 1953-1955 MG TF.
 
Thanks Bob, so made in June 1968, would mean it's a replacement not the original. PJ

Just put my reading glasses on, the date is actually 7/68 MF date. :encouragement:
