My "10CC DAH" Engine...

...is all standard after all these years; she's apparently never been rebuilt as everything inside was factory!

But, we're gonna bore it .020" anyway....not sure yet if we're turn the crank or just polish it - they'll make the final determination today after cleaning it a bit more - but if we do turn it, it'll be the minimum .010".

Re: My "10CC DAH" Engine - UPDATE

So I just took the machine shop my new .020" pistons, new wrist pin bushings, new cam bearings, all new valves, valve springs, valve guides, valve seals, ring gear & my pressure plate....next week they'll bore the block, turn the crank .010", install the cam bearings & the new ring gear on the flywheel...then they'll balance everything & build the head with new hardened seats & get everything back to me so I can start the final build.

Only thing I need to take them is my new cam once David Anton makes it so they can check its fit in the new cam bearings.

WOO HOO!!

...but, will I really notice that they've balanced all the reciprocating parts inside the engine?

Great, you were overdue for some good news.

Re: My "10CC DAH" Engine - UPDATE

Can't say if you'll notice all the little improvements like the balancing, but it's going to be a very nice little motor. Should give you lots of years of happy motoring.
