Wedge Must Be Winter

You don't have that thing out yet? :friendly_wink:

All good things come to those that wait :eagerness:
Frickin cold weather and work gets in the way

Why did you move to such a cold place? 60 degrees here in the PNW!

Oh it was fine today..though 2 days ago it was almost 70 but was so humid the moisture was running off the car.
Was out tearing things apart while changing a PS seal in my little girls Accord.
Heads are off with the lifters numbered and stored along with the push rods.
Trigger wheel was was ordered yesterday.
Trying to decide whether to pull the rad or not

It's winter alright... I just plowed my driveway for the first of many times this winter I'm afraid to say.

You guys are breaking my heart. It's just getting to be good driving weather here! Topped 85 today, but with a little bit of breeze. Same thing tomorrow. They say we might get a tiny bit of rain next week (and a high of 67), but I don't believe it.

Found part of the reason my TR3 doesn't want to idle smoothly. All four of the Bosch Platinum plugs are apparently broken inside the ceramic, but the only symptom is that the center electrode was sticking out of the ceramic. One plug was almost (but not quite) closed completely; the actual gap had to be under .010"! Put in a set of Champion conventional plugs and it's much happier.

Winter here in CT as well ! Snow, sleet, and freezing rain yesterday into the night. Just got back from the traditional Thanksgiving morning walk down the old railroad bed with my daughter.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone !

Scot

How did that happen, just usage?

Don - winter in SC surely not that bad, right?

Sometimes Tom. It was 45 for a high the other day.
Froze my **** off.
Been a cold fall so far

We got about 7" inches yesterday. First white Thanksgiving for us in a long time.

We got less than 1" in SW CT. A few flakes still falling but it's 40 degrees right now. I'm going to run the TR6 with the garage door open just to get the blood circulating. I also press the brakes and the clutch & check to make sure all the electrics work each time I do this. I run it up to operating temperature but this car has never been out of the garage in the rain or snow or when the roads have been salted. Each winter I also put in drygas and fuel stabilizer so no startup problems in the Spring. Has worked for 19 years and see no reason to discontinue now.BTW, anyone catch Wheeler Dealers last night? They worked on an immaculate Spitfire. There's one here in town but I haven't caught up with the owner to discuss. We also have 4 other TR6's and an MGA. I know 3 out of the 4 TR6 owners. The 4th one is like a tobacco brown color. I think it's a '75 but I never checked it out that closely. Anyone know the official name of that color and the years it was used?

Don I'll gladly put up with the snow to have a spread like that, but I bet the heating bill is crazy.

Keith- It's not the heating bills ...it's the cooling ones.
They are double what my heat bill is.
But yet my neighbors are a little more than half of mine.
I plan on adding a bunch of foam insulation this winter.

Winter?? Another 3 weeks of Fall here. TomP1010005.jpg
