Neat.
While discussing earthquake preparedness, a friend told me about "museum putty." It's a sticky stuff that holds things down but is removeable. Watched a couple videos that makes me think it's just what I need for precarious display sort of stuff in the kitchen and living room. Ordered some. Just received 2 packages. It’s available many places (notably through Amazon)… maybe $3/package.

[not sure why the title of this video includes the term"shocking" – surprising maybe?]
Here’s a demonstration.

Just tried it, and so far it works.

Maybe give it a try on your heated commode after a night out of partying :chair:

LOL Yes, stability in the face of something... anything.

The other suggested use of the stuff... to hold things down in drawers. Here to hold down drawer-organizers (from slipping) in the kitchen. Two little dabs does it.
