doesn't (me).

Early TR4 rear leaf springs....one spring has two extra partial leaves about 6 inches long, located at/on the center thru-bolt. The other spring doesn't have this feature.

Sooo...the question is.... the spring with the extras goes on which side?

I believe its the passenger side, to lower that side when you have a single driver. Holdover from the TR3s..since USA was the biggest market here I guess we had the reputation for having heavy bottoms!

Yeah, passenger side, since unlike most vehicles, the spacers lower the side they are installed on.

There was supposedly a racing class where the car had to sit level "as raced". Lowering the passenger side let it sit level with only a driver.

Thanks, Guys.
