Wham-O has died at age 82.

His company marketed products that for two decades virtually defined frivolity in postwar America, from the Hula Hoop, the Frisbee, the SuperBall, Water Wiggly sprinkler, the Slip ’N Slide water slide, the Limbo Game and Silly String,

82 is a pretty good run.

From ~The Obit~ in the NT Times, it sounds like he had a good life.
 
It was reported yesterday, his best quote was "I gave the world fun".

Don't we all wish we could say that.
