Getting ready to drive the '67 MGB GT to the Dixon meet this Friday.
We have it stored about five miles away,so I had to:

A) Get the '68 MGB parts car off the trailer

B) Get the '60 Anglia restoration project out of the garage,& onto the trailer,
and take it to the storage unit.

C) Load up the GT onto the trailer,& bring it home.

Sounds pretty easy - right? Well, here's how it actually went:

A) Get the B off the trailer - no problem, until I ran over the plastic tarp
that I thought would be easier to leave on the car.Other than that,it went
smoothly.

B) Went to move the Anglia - rr tire was flat.Got that taken care of & had the
Wife help me push it onto the trailer. That went fairy smooth also.

C) Went to start the GT up,& .....almost nothing - battery almost dead.Backed it up,
& tried to jump start it .....nothing.Tried to push it up on the trailer, but couldn't
keep it from rolling backwards (I'm doing this by myself).Pull the two come-alongs
out,& connect them to get more distance.Get car on trailer,& block the rear wheel.
Disconnect the first come-along,& watch the car go backwards,as it runs over the
block behind the rear wheel.
Try it again, while taking a chunk out of my hand,as the cheap Harbor Freight
come-along pinches it.I swear to buy two good ones for "next time".Also rip some
skin off of my left thumb - luckily,I'm right handed.
So now I'm dirty, tired,& thinking that I shouldn't touch anything mechanical
for awhile, since this followed my 3-5 hour oil change a few days ago.
And this is how NOT to do it properly.I did go out & buy a new battery - $128!

I see you had Murphy giving you a hand all day.

Sounds about normal.

but you do have your own class at the UBSCC Dixon show ! Nice to have 3 of them in the family. I don't think there will ever me 3 Morris 8s to make a class at the show.
