Moving car with out coolant

I need to move my Healey about 200 feet, the last bit up an incline. The bad water pump has been removed along with the coolant. I just found out that Moss Will not have stock until the end of December. Can the car be run with out damaging anything that short of a distance? Should I warm up the engine for 30 seconds or so? Any suggestions?

Probably not advisable, but just the sort of thing I would try, being something of a cowboy.

PS - As for warming up first, I would keep running time to a minimum...it should warm up fast enough!

PSS - Why not get some beefy guys to push the car?
 
I have run engines for a minute or two without coolant, no harm came from it. I would not warm it up at all, just start it, move the car, and turn it off.

The Healey engine is cast iron, there is quite a bit of mass there that takes a while before it melts down!

I would not warm it up at all,

just start it, move the car, and turn it off.
 
First off, make sure nothing under the hood is going to go flying when you start it up. Make sure the generator is secure and isn't bouncing around and that the fan belt isn't going to wrap itself around the damper. Start it up with the choke on and drive it 200 feet and then shut it off and you will be fine.
