Most Unusual Bodge or Repair by a PO?

Don't see what all the fuss over wiring color is. My original harness is faded until all the wires are brown, but I had no trouble hooking it all back up. I do wish the DPO hadn't just cut off the wires he didn't want to use, though!

Yes, it wasn't too big of a deal, particularly because he didn't bother to bundle any back together. So it was easy to trace what went where.

Another feature was to wire the horns up to a big button, bypassing the relay.

I once looked at an MGB where the seller had attached the fuel pump with string. Not anything particularly heavy duty, but he made up for it by using a lot of it.

Being as it was an old MGB I also brought a magnet, there were lots of places on the lower half of the bodywork that the magnet didn't stick to, seller was pretty amazed, but not too thrilled, with the magnet trick.

Bought a Sprite that was two cars welded together, about the rear corner 1/3 of one and the rest the other. Later found out it was accident repair.
