Moss Rubbe/Vinyl Door Seals

Hi
Wanted to know your thoughts/experience with the standard black rubber/vinyl door seals for the Side Curtain Sprite form Moss or VB?
Do they stay in place and is the profile correct so that the door close good? I have had the cloth covered ones that faded real fast and are now falling apart. I wanted to go with Red Bristleflex from McGegor but they are not in stock and he is slow getting around to making a run so figured I'd try these.
Thanks for any help/comments

I'm getting ready to order these seals, too. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm struggling to remove all the brittle, hard material the channels. Any tricks for getting these cleaned out (without scarring up the aluminum frame - which I've learned about the hard way)? Will the new seal just push into place? Is the fit relatively good, or will there need to be trimming?

Thanks!

Bill
I'm not sure if I know exactly where you are talking about? The door seals should press on tho the edge of the body around the door opening. I am curious to know because the side curtain cars like ours have a different bend at the very top where it meets the dash and at the top above the door striker. these are difficult areas to hold the seals to.
