TR6 Moss leather seat kits - TR6

Has anyone installed Moss' leather seat upholstery? What was your experience and thoughts?

I think that a friend of mine in MA did their leather kit. It looks great, but he has the time and is an engineer/machinist by trade. By that I mean that he has infinite patience and a set of very skilled and organized hands. He also has fully restored Model A that he drives all over the country.

I just hate upholstery work. I always did and always will. With the cost of those kits, I'd pay a pro to install them and pad them properly. Without the proper padding, no cover will look good. How are your seat kidney pads?

My upholstery was beautiful, but my padding was falling apart. This R&R covers and re-pad job cost me 20% less than the padding kit alone, completely done as you see it.

I used a Moss leather kit on the TR3A and thought it excellent.

The seats have been in use for 16 years now. My big keister, untold soakings from thunderstorms, kids climbing in & out (and standing on them) and they still look good.
