Okay, here's my dilemma.

Second gear is a bear sometimes to FIND.
You just can't find the silly gate!

Once you do, goes in fine.

I have been fighting this for over two yyears, you'd think if it was an angle problem, I'd have overcome it by now.
And, not always does it happen.

I had a guy stop by early summer with a MK1, he couldn't find second, I had to do it from passenger seat.

So, is there some known issue with covers on some of these that creates this little dance?

1964 MK2, 2.4L, NO O/D, RHD (which may exacerbate the situation), but you'd think the Brits would have complained about it.
