TR2/3/3A Moss alternator & narrow belt conversion questions

Corvairs are air-cooled flat sixes.

When I was a wee lad, I had a 63 VW bug with a Crown engine conversion plate, aluminum flywheel, and a Corvair 140HP hanging out the back. A poor mans Porsche, similar engine design - horizontally opposed 6, mine had 4 one barrels, even had a turbo mode way back then.

Yes, it was fast, very very fast up to 80.
