Morris Bull Motif

I had always understood it was because his earliest cars were bullnosed, that is, they had distinctive, rounded radiators.
But there again I could very easily be wrong.
 
The history that I know is the Insigna is supposed to be an OX fording the Thames River. Symbolism for the hometown of Morris - Oxford.....
