stuck the engine and tranny in this morning early. Could not wait so did it my self, not a chip or scratch anywhere. Took about an hour and a half, I went very very slow.

It is not bolted in but is setting on mounts on the bolt holes.

Jacked the car up and took wheels off.

That is too much jack though, and one of those tilt things would have been nice but going slow it worked out fine.

Tony, I need some bits before I do that. Looks at this point about 20 bucks will do it, we will see. I will just order from VB when I got it sorted out for sure.

hehe, intake gaskets, not sure how I forgot those along with the rubber gromets that VB nicely gives the sizes on in their catalog and MOSS does not. Not sure what else if anything, but only the gaskets for real. The gromets will just keep me going over the holidays.

I was going to ask if you had one of those tilt-things! They do make life a bit easier. Slow is good and easy is better!

Engine and tranny in and mounts bolted up. Oil in engine, feel better about that. Shift plinith in etc etc. Generator mounted, Dizzy in. About time for the raiator. Think I have finished for today though.

Have some flowers to plant and such.

What self control you have. I'd be out there all day.

If I do it all at one time there is nothing left for tomorrow.

Nice work, Jack! Now you've really got yourself a car. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

hehehehehe....I always wanted to use that one!

Actually, I just want to see that freshly painted engine in the pristine bay...but I really like that emoticon!

So, look at the last couple of pics in my signature link.

Looks real nice, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif You are doing a great job Jack.

Jack - that is absolutely GORGEOUS!! You should post that last photo directly into this thread! Man is she beautiful!!

Have no place to host it Tony, some one copy in and do so if you wish. Tires and all are back on now.

It won't let me copy & paste...
