more progress and a question.....

Wow! Great progress this weekend...
New rear shocks
New e-brake cable and Chrome handle
New grommets on rear drivers side leaf springs(?)
Now a question...I didn't get new grommets on the passenger side because it appears that the only way to get the bolts out is to remove the gas tank. There is not enough clearance to remove the bolt is there? Or am I doing this wrong?
Is there any way to do this and not drop the gas tank?

Terri, I replaced both sides on my '65 without dropping the tank. You may have to unbolt the hangers from inside the car though, and drop them with the spring. Then change the bushings with the spring on the bench, and reinstall everything as a unit.
